About This Quote

The greatest possessions I leave for my children are books. I am not one of those people who believes in keeping too many things. There is a limit to the number of things one human needs in order to be happy. But, books are different.

They are something you can read over and over again, enjoying yourself each time. The book I have read most often is “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens. And, when I look back on my life, I can see that reading this book has helped me more than anything else in the world.

It has answered all of my questions about this world and made me realize what is important in life. Books teach us how to live forever and will help our children when they are growing up.
